Mistermann Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 (edited) I have often wondered how "real" the Super Carrier's flight deck is when compared to RL operations. I stumbled on this video today and figured I'd share here. Now I understand much better what's going on during the process. I'd say ED did a pretty good job. Hopefully this helps someone else here too. Brun Posted March 23, 2021 Posted March 23, 2021 At least one noticeable difference from DCS: After the holdback bar is installed, the aircraft is taxied forward until the launch bar is *on top* of the shuttle. Then once it's been armed, taxied forward again so the launch bar can be engaged. Is the position in 3A to prevent FOD?
