Frederf Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 (edited) Kneeboard text is confusing. When special option is selected that makes available stored heading for cold start Mirage 2000 the text on kneeboard states INS REQUIRES FAST ALIGNMENT. This isn't true. The pilot may do either fast alignment or full alignment. Perhaps the text should be changed to "INS MEMORY ALIGNMENT AVAILABLE" or similar. Also please be consistent in naming. Counting the English cockpit, control list, PDF manual, kneeboard and DCS UI menus these alignments are called: Normal INS alignment ALCM Memory INS alignment Fast alignment Full alignment STH ALN Quick alignment Memorized heading alignment Memory alignment This will be confusing to users which don't realize this list of 10 names (not including French equivalents) refer to only 2 actual things. I think calling the two modes "normal" and "memory" is possibly best since they match the French terms well. I would avoid terminology "full, fast, quick, stored". Edited April 16, 2021 by Frederf 5
myHelljumper Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 Hi, this will be fixed in the updated manual, we will have to take a look at the training mission, GUI and english cockpit to be sure that we use the same names. 1 Helljumper - M2000C Guru Helljumper's Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK3rTjezLUxPbWHvJJ3W2fA
