Windows not booting anymore - SrtTrail.txt error

Hi guys,

 

I updated my Nvidia drivers on saturday and played DCS. Shut the pc down and then yesterday tried to start the pc up but windows will not boot. The error code is a SrtTrail.txt BSOD error.  Automatic repair does not work and it keeps trying to reboot without success. I feel like a fresh reinstall of windows may be the only option. 

 

1) has anybody had this error before? If so , how did you fix it?

 

2) through command prompt I can get access to my files and copy them onto a usb pen. I'm planning on copying:

- DCS saved games folder 

- rs mapper  for my home cockpit switch and button settings

 

Is there anything else I should copy before I reinstall windows and lose all my stuff?

Avant de reinstaller windows.

As-tu essayé  le "mode sans echec"?

Ce mode de demarrage est un mode minimum generique pour eviter les problèmes de drivers.

si non,fais le  et désactive ta carte video,(desinstalle la).

Ensuite ton ordinateur va redemarrer avec le driver generique.

Cherche sur le web un driver different,plus recent ou même plus ancien.

Installe le et redemarre.

si le problème persiste change une nouvelle fois de driver.

Si aucun driver ne fonctionne tu dois te resoudre à renvoyer ta carte video pour que le fournisseur te la change.

 

Encore une observation:

pour installer un driver nvidia,il est fortement conseillé de le faire en "mode sans echec" avec  "DDU":

Ce truc permet d'assurer une installation propre du driver sans risque de croisement de fichiers avec le driver precedent.
