shastasm Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 I think making the AI smarter would be ideal especially as ED works on a dynamic campaign engine. Your flight often chases down a bogie even flying into SAM areas. I would also like to see more interaction with ATC for heavy used airways, establishing a holding pattern at specific altitude and DME, then given permission to proceed to landing pattern with direction from ATC. Communication with all AI on the same radio channel as well. 2 2020 Rig Chasse: bequiet! They've been using the Warbirds to test some of it though, so, there's some hope. Evidently, the warbirds 'sighting' is a bit more realistic in that the pilot cannot 'see' through his plane, and therefor has actual blind spots. Modern aircraft IRL obviously don't have that as bad, as the pilot is afforded much more visibility in most cases, but it shouldn't be to the absurd levels it can get to.... For example: There's no possible way that a C-130 could know that a Heat-seaking missile is on the way, and yet I've seen the buttards pop flares the moment the missile was off the rail (and naturally, the missile misses). I've seen this with helicopters as well, and it's always annoying. But, like I said, there is hope on the horizon.
