Hoggorm Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Can I change the laser code an A-10C client will start with?
Frederf Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Yes. It requires the use of the prepare mission function. In the editor under the FLIGHT menu select PREPARE MISSION Ctrl+M. Request ground power on CDU on CICU on LMFCD on LOAD page command load DSMS info (or manually inventory stores) DSMS INV Adjust inventory for new laser weapons with desired codes LMFCD off CICU off CDU off Request ground power off When the mission is played the user can load from data cartridge and the prepared data will load instead of the standard one.

Frederf Posted May 16, 2021 Posted May 16, 2021 Prepare mission is a special mode where you are put into the mission and your changes are saved as part of the miz file. That's why you add ground power, get airplane started enough to edit the DSMS inventory, then shut it down again.

I started an A-10 in the air not thinking that I was in this mode. I then dropped a couple of bombs and the next time I started the mission the DSMS page was red on those stores that where "missing".
