Campbell Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 On my created missions When I give my wingman a command I’m not getting a reply. Either that or I can’t hear the reply. Is there something with the radios I’m missing? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
draconus Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 In ME you can decide the radio frequency for your flight comms. During mission you set your radio to that frequency (and modulation if you use RIO's radio) and then use proper PTT radio button to transmit the command. Obviously radios have to be working (no damage), have power, proper mode and volume set, be in range/LOS to the receiver. Eagle7907 Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Yeah you gotta be careful. Most missions and even the default comms in the editor use the second radio for flight comms (UHF/VHF). The problem is if you tell jester to switch to something else like tower or AWACS, you’ll lose your flight comms and most likely can’t get them on radio 1 (UHF) because it’s set to a VHF frequency.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Win 10, AMD FX9590/water cooled, 32GB RAM, 250GB SSD system, 1TB SSD (DCS installed), 2TB HD, Warthog HOTAS, MFG rudders, Track IR 5, LG Ultrawide, Logitech Speakers w/sub, Fans, Case, cell phone, wallet, keys.....printer

Thank you! That makes sense. I knew I was doing something minor to cause the issue. That explains it perfectly.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
