Widescreen problems

Hello all

 

I have just got a nice new 20" widescreen lcd running 1680*1050 resolution.But when I play lockon the picture is a bit squashed.

I have tried changing the resolution but it makes no difference.

Any ideas???

Theres a LUA file that you should tweak as well. I dont remenber wich one is (Im not at home now) but it allows setting view angle in each planes cockpit. I needed to icnrease about 20º for everything to look properly. The ratio in graphics.cfg I have set is 1.7 wich actualy looks better than 1.6 (wich you obtain by deviding 1680/1050).

I actually stopped using the procaff.exe and find I no longer need it... I think with latest Intel cpu's lockon no longer has stuttering issue (I think this was with older P4 CPU's with HyperThreading) so if your game runs fine just ignore this part

IMPORTANT: EVERY time you open LOMAC's options menu and make a change- this will re-set the aspect ratio to it's incorrect default value.
