dresoccer4 Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 Hi all. I'm learning how to aim with the GU and you use your cyclic controls (joystick), or a mouse, or keyboard, or any axis. I have a FFB joystick that doesn't stay centered very well so I want to use the mini-joy on my HOTAS throttle. I got the mini-joy to work, but my main joystick overrides any other control, and since it doesn't stay perfectly centered, it's continually moving the GU aiming pipper. What I want to do is disable the aiming movement with my main joystick (cyclic movements) and only use the mini-joy on my throttle. Anyone found a way to do this? I'm blanking Acer Predator Triton 700 || i7-7700HQ || 512GB SSD || 32GB RAM || GTX1080 Max-Q || FFB II and Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle || All DCS Modules

I'm blanking Yes, just remove the axis in the correct control setup. You have three different setups for the Hind. I needed to to the same as well. MS FFB2. Added another stick, but it really won't stop moving. Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk

If you remove those then you won't be able to fly Acer Predator Triton 700 || i7-7700HQ || 512GB SSD || 32GB RAM || GTX1080 Max-Q || FFB II and Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle || All DCS Modules

If you remove those then you won't be able to flyIn the AimingStation, you don't have an option for cyclic anyway. It will add all your joysticks, so Yyou may even have an axis conflict, if you have multiple sticks. I had. That's why there's a special item for it.Like you can use the same hat for the Petrovich commands as you can use the trimmer hat on the cyclic. When commanding Petrovich, the trimmer is disabled. So when you're in the sight, the cyclic is disabled anyway, because you're using the aiming station controls setup.Apologies for my English, had my vaccination today, and I'm not feeling all too well. I didn't see any petrovich-only axis that I could un-assign. Congrats on getting vaccine! You shouldn't feel bad for too long, around 24 hours at most. Congrats on getting vaccine! You shouldn't feel bad for too long, around 24 hours at most. Open control settings, and in the drop down choose Hind Aiming Station or similar. One can ONLY change axis there. I really like the way they have solved this with the Hind and Petrovich! Anyway, seems others including me have some issues with drift. Some have tried to remove all the axis, and then rebinding the ones you're gonna use, and that might fix it. Haven't tried it myself yet, but I'll give it a shot. Thanks! Hopefully better tomorrow! Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk@MAXsenna is right - the aiming station is a separate set of controls (like most modules have game and sim profiles). If drift is an issue I think you can solve it by adding a deadzone to the axis mappings for the Aiming StationSent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk 1 Windows 11 Home ¦ Z790 AORUS Elite AX motherboard ¦ i7-13700K ¦ 64GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory @ 5600MHz ¦ Samsung 990 Pro 1TB SSD for OS, Samsung 980 Pro 2TB SSD for DCS ¦ MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming X Trio 24GB ¦ Virpil WarBRD base with VFX grip, Thrustmaster A10c and F/A-18 grips ¦ VKB Gunfighter Mk4 and MCG Pro ¦ Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle ¦ VKB STECS Throttle ¦ Virpil TCS rotor base with Shark and AH-64D grips ¦ MFG Crosswinds ¦ Total Controls Multi-Function Button Box ¦ Pimax Crystal
