No player in Training: Cold Start

After clicking "fly" at the start of the Cold Start training for the Viggen I see only the F10 map and cannot enter the F1 view. There is a NPC Viggen on the ramp which promptly starts up and taxis away on its own. There appears to be no aircraft with a player slot making it impossible to play through this training scenario.

 

This is in the current open beta of DCS.
