Avalanche110 Posted July 13, 2021 Posted July 13, 2021 (edited) "Some one else has logged into your account on another machine" this dialogue box popped up while i was in the mission editor and then DCS closed. I have never seen this message before and I am a little concerned. It could be the result of the DCS Scheduled server maintenance but not sure. I have never given out my account details either. dcs.log Edited July 13, 2021 by Avalanche110
=Mac= Posted July 13, 2021 Posted July 13, 2021 Scheduled maintenance of our primary server (Tuesday the 13th of July starting at 04:00 UTC) The Hornet is best at killing things on the ground. Now, if we could just get a GAU-8 in the nose next to the AN/APG-65, a titanium tub around the pilot, and a couple of J-58 engines in the tail...
Dangerzone Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 I agree it's most likely the maintenance. Concerning though that it will just close DCS on the person that has it opened. I don't think it should be doing this. I thought we had 2 days grace or something if we were unable to connect to the servers to work offline, etc? Plus - doing that in the mission editor could lose unsaved work (as could closing someone down half way through a mission). I don't mind ED's approach into off-line use - however I feel that after being successfully logged in - closing that session part way through is a bit harsh. To Eagle Dynamics: Could you please reconsider this 'feature' so that those in DCS, whether it be single players, mission editors, etc don't get 'kicked out' if servers are unable to be contacted, or for messages such as the above?
