element1108 Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Hey guys, I've been reading a lot of forums lately that are stating the same problem I'm having with my X52 throttle/stick with Lockon. Most of those links to fixes no longer exist so maybe you guys could help? I'm looking to program my X52 and re-map some keys in Lockon (hotas). I've read that it's difficult to do using the in game mapping format, and that one should use STT to program? I'm confused as to what exactly STT is? And how to go about doing that? Any help would be appreciated thanks guys!
DTWD Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 The SST software is the programming software that comes with the x52, it should be on the original CD, but it's always best to get the latest drivers and software anyway: http://www.saitek.com/uk/down/drivers.htm Regards Paul Regards [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
S77th-konkussion Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Correct. Use the input menus for axis assignments only, SST for your buttons. Read this carefully. If you blow through it and miss steps you'll only get more frustrated. http://www.freewebs.com/konkussion/flighthardwaresetuppage.htm [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
element1108 Posted October 26, 2008 Author Posted October 26, 2008 Thanks big time guys! This should help!
S77th-konkussion Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 You're welcome. Although I think I mention this a few times on the site- I will emphasize that even though the setup is the same for just about any model stick- the SST version you see pictures of is older- and may not completely match what you see. Also- do NOT try to use my X45 profiles on your X52- they will NOT work. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
