Surely aim 120's can also go active on "held tracks" right ?

I seem to remember the aim120 always had this ability but it can't anymore for a long time now. 
Isn't it weird that the ancient F14 and ancient phoenix missile can do that but much more modern aircraft and missiles can't ? 

When will this feature return for aim120  ?

Are you just trolling at this point? You know very well that ED is aware and working on the AMRAAM INS issue, and that the AMRAAM is well capable of this IRL. And you legit need to stop twisting it into this "F-14 OP" meta. Theres nothing "weird" going on.

You can look at literally any of the AIM-120 complaint threads and see BNs comments, hes repeated it over and over again, its WIP and they are working on it.
