DoorMouse Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 (edited) https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1097188312 First the Rio crashed and had to restart - Meaning Jester didnt come back and all the aircraft systems were non-functional (which would be a super cool thing to solve) and then when she DID come back, the wing popped off (No we checked the tac view, nothing hit us). It happened the moment she fully loaded in - I presume some de-sync issue made the client think I just went a million miles an hour suddenly. Edited July 25, 2021 by DoorMouse
sLYFa Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 How fast where you going when the RIO got back in? Might be the wings sweeping forward for a split second, just long enough to get ripped off at high speeds. i5-8600k @4.9Ghz, 2080ti , 32GB@2666Mhz, 512GB SSD

Not nearly enough to rip the wings off even if I pulled full stick. We also triple checked the server and my track file. We were not being shot at. the wing just popped off. Again my hypothesis is that some momentary lag or delay caused the aircraft to calculate our G-Force/Position as instantaneously moving some distance. EDIT: OH wait is there a bug with wing sweep sync perhaps? The aircraft momentarily swept the wings full forward? Edited July 30, 2021 by DoorMouse

Yeah I had the same thing happen to me too, but that was prior to the wing desync issue being fixed. Basically, when my RIO joined back the wings where fully forward for him while I was doing close to M1 and the wings ripped off. Now that should be fixed but it can be that they sweep forward for a second when a RIO joins for syncing reasons. Just try to be below M0.7 (thats roughly where the wings start moving back in auto) when a RIO joins. i5-8600k @4.9Ghz, 2080ti , 32GB@2666Mhz, 512GB SSD
