antares190 Posted August 4, 2021 Posted August 4, 2021 Dear Thrustmaster enthusiasts, following some really neat piece of info online (https://pit.uriba.org/uriba/standalone-cougar-tqs-part-i/ ), I created my own version of the adapter. Mine is based on Teensy, I also changed the USB device identifier so that windows sees it as Cougar instead of Teensy (completely eye candy, unnecessary headache). I also added an hardware calibration routine, axis mapping, a board to seamlessly connect the components, a 3D printable case and other neat features, check it out! https://giovannimedici.wordpress.com/2020/08/28/standalone-usb-adapter-for-tm-cougar-throttle/ 2
Steel Jaw Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Any chance you are selling the built-ones? "You see, IronHand is my thing" My specs: W10 Pro, I5/11600K o/c to 4800 @1.32v, 64 GB 3200 XML RAM, Red Dragon 7800XT/16GB.

I took the original idea from Uriba, which was kind enough to share it to everybody for free, I don't foresee selling them, but I can upload the Gerber files for the pcb, then it is a matter of soldering. The code is also available on the blog.
Steel Jaw Posted August 14, 2021 Posted August 14, 2021 Cheers bro though I have to say my soldering skills are lacking to the point I won’t even bother. "You see, IronHand is my thing" My specs: W10 Pro, I5/11600K o/c to 4800 @1.32v, 64 GB 3200 XML RAM, Red Dragon 7800XT/16GB.
fostiras Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 Is there any way of getting Target software to identify the standalone throttle with the adapter as a Thrustmaster device? That would be very useful as I'm using CTS which makes my life a lot easier and don't have to do any mapping myself.
rafalg78 Posted March 18, 2024 Posted March 18, 2024 antares190, are you willing help me run this device? I did hardware and software according to "Difficult Way". I was able to upload software to the board and device is already vissible as Cougar. But there is no any response of the buttons and axis.
