  1. VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants, here are attached files to improve rings behavior. There are better implementation of clicks, faster wheel rolling and energy improvment by reducing leds light. You have to connect ring through usb cable. Make backup of code.py and then replace. Same for both rings ofcourse. left_ring.zip right_ring.zip
  2. Write to me on priv or rafalg78@gmail.com
  3. antares190, are you willing help me run this device? I did hardware and software according to "Difficult Way". I was able to upload software to the board and device is already vissible as Cougar. But there is no any response of the buttons and axis.
  4. I am selling my rings at material costs. I already have v2.
  5. I am selling a set of two rings, right and left. These are devices that simulate mouse clicks and scrolling. I use it in VR to click in the cockpit. Details on how they are made can be found at the link: Ring With Mouse Buttons & Wheel : 5 Steps (with Pictures) - Instructables There is also a discussion in the forum: To work in VR require LeapMotion or other hands tracking system. There is installed 50mA battery which allowing Ring to work 2,5-3h. Ring internal diameter is 21mm + some plastic flexibility. Price: 70€ + shipping cost.
  6. I don't mind. My skills to develop the project are limited as I am not a programmer. I'd love to see improvements.
  7. Of course, I will be very pleased and happy to see the progress.
  8. slughead, I'm glad you managed to build the Ring. For me it works with HP Reverb G2 and Leap Motion. The only downside is that hands and head movements are linked. You have to get used to it. But now I can't imagine not using the Rings (I have 2 for my right and left hand). Does hand tracking via Quest Pro also have such a negative effect?
  9. Download .msi from: Release v1.0.0 - bug fixes, sleep/wake, and ultraleap improvements · fredemmott/HTCC · GitHub and install. Then run "HTTC Settings" and setup as my recomendation. Of course UltraLeap Control Panel needs to be run. There is no need to edit registers.
  10. I observe the same issue. I am very impressed with the Su-30, it is wonderful, congratulations and I admire the amount of work put into it. @combatace, please take criticism constructively, just to make it become even better. I think this is the only purpose behind the comments that are made.
  11. In DCS VR settings ultraleap needs to be disabled. In my case all is working independent of these 3 settings.
  12. Check also "OpenXR tools for Windows Mixed Reality", tab "Mixed Reality".
  13. @actually_fred good to have you here Next time I revise the Ring I would use a larger battery. I saw 90mAh (20x12x6mm) on Aliexpress, it would be perfect. If necessary, I can provide adjusted a new 3D model of the Ring for printing.
  14. Seems that to see interface, SteamVR Dashboard is needed, right? I don't use Steam and couldn't get it to work.
  15. Look on my settings, I think you have to set "Virtual touch screen or tablet" in "Prefered game interface". Then from definition you will not see your hands. In that setting hands movement is transfer to the mouse. Behavior is the same as with Fingers but in my case more stable, better responsive. And yes, head movement together with mouse is the biggest issue. But despite this, I can't imagine stopping using "Rings". It gives incredible immersion in the game and works the most sensibly of anything I've tried.
  16. Since yesterday I have been using an alternative to the Fingers application. In my case, it works more stably and precisely. There is still the problem that head movement also causes the mouse cursor to move, but this is less annoying. I am using HTTC. According to author instruction I did: 1. Leap Motion drivers: Gemini v5.16.0 (October 2023) or later installed 2. You must use the multithreaded version of DCS, and remove the LeapC.dll from both the bin and bin-mt folders inside your DCS installation. Alternatively, rename them. My settings are: There is no need to keep the application open when DCS is running.
  17. @BIGNEWY, here is better description what we need. It is what I asked in another topic.
  18. @BIGNEWY is it possible to add this option: to turn head movement off when using the mouse in VR? or in other words, that head movement does not move the mouse cursor.
  19. The best effect is achieved by using Leap Motion together with a ring that supports mouse clicks. Leap Motion tracks the movement of the hand, and the ring allows you to operate the buttons in the cockpit. Here is the topic:
