It did it again..

So, I had to set my computer up to a previous time... and now Lock-On dosn't work.. I have tried activating it 4 times in the past hour and I get this error..

When I activate it I put my serial #____________

My Hardware Code ___________

 

I press Activate and it gives me an Activation Code...

 

 

I take this activation code and I use it by.. Holding Shift Pressed while clicking on my Lock-On short cut..

 

I copy and paste the new Activation code and my serial #.. I hit Activate and It seems like it Activates it.. because the little Activating screen goes away..

 

I reboot and then Press on my Lock=On Short Cut.. BAAMMmmmm.... That error appears time and time again..

 

2 hours ago I had 12 activating keys left.. Now I'm down to 7... WTH?

Sounds like a borked download and/or install. I would get rid of the first download, clear your temp folder/caches, and download a fresh install.

Thanks Hitman. When I get home from work, I'll reinstall from scratch and give it a run !!!

better before reinstall, just run LOCKON.BAT, inside game folder

and see if it helps!

Ok, So I reformatted...

 

I bought a new Video card. Settled on a SAPPHIRE

Reformatted my HD and reinstalled all my new games..

 

Crysis Warhead, Dead Space, Farcry 2, Crysis, Battle Field Series..all, Flaming Cliffs..

 

On Flaming Cliffs the install went uneventful. I installed Lock-On and then Flaming Cliffs. I patched it and activated it through lock-on.ru and my account. Got the StarForce driver uninstall utility and I'm now ready for anything. Flaming Cliffs looks like never before, upgrading from an ATI 850XT 256. All my games look amazing.

I didn't like Far Cry 2 so I played only few hours, feels so dumbed down compared to my previous FPS experience. All Crysis games play and feel just great. Finished them all though. I'm still playing BF2142, pity this game is so empty now ... good gamers moved to play other games.

 

Playing through Dead Space now, I have just finished my night session it's 4 A.M. and I'm currently on the Ishimura's bridge. What a great atmosphere this game has, gives me the chills. Last time I had the "jump moments" was while playing DOOM 3.

 

Good luck with new video card and LOFC :) It is a good season for gaming, many great titles already released and more to be released later this year :)

You need to find and join the clan which plays all types of the games... :D I'm in one of those :D Wish you the same! :P My clanmates are in constant look out for the new games with the multiplayer possibilities... Why oh why BS does not have multiplayer compaigns...
