Hammer1-1 Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 (edited) Ive been doing it like this since day 1 and works like a charm. Just takes a good sight picture of where your HUD needs to be when you line up behind the basket: the vertical bar on the left side of the elevation tape aligned with the port side tank, and keep the VVI at basket level; walk forward until you plug in. This view works on ANY aircraft you choose to refuel from, whether or not its the MPRS, KC-130 or even IL-76; so long as that vertical bar on the elevation tape is aligned with the fuel tank you are refueling from, works every time. Your margin of error IS the fuel tank itself, and the basket inside the badminton feathers.
