tmansteve Posted September 6, 2021 Posted September 6, 2021 I was flying with bro yesterday as RIO. He came in a little too fast and locked the flaps. We tried a repair, got Copy and nothing happened. Is this still to be sorted? We was on airfield, haven't tried carrier. Cheers
IronMike Posted September 15, 2021 Posted September 15, 2021 Some things in DCS do not get registered as damage, if no general damage occurs alongside with it. The Gear Lever is another such example. Both it and the flaps will repair, but only if the jet is registered as damaged (say has bullet holes in the fuselage, a thing broken off, etc). It is recognized as damage and then you can repair normally. However there appears to be another bug where the canopy does not get repaired(put back) after the jettison. So you essentially trade your broken flaps/gear for no canopy... Edited September 16, 2021 by Rinz1er

Having it here doesn't get the correct devs eyes on, and precludes a chance to get them fixing repair for all modules (since it's a base DCS issue). 2
