Hi everyone,

Although I was familiar with this a long time ago, as I didn't practice Mission Editor for a long time, I am a little bit confuse with "task" and "enroute task"... In particular what should be the "priority" among them...

For exemple if I want a KC135 to enter a hypppodrome pattern while available for refueling which one should be the first one : pattern or refueling task ?

Thanks

Page 144 of DCS's User manual has a nice overview and description. It by far does not answer all questions, but it's a good start 🙂

Tried to further explain on the wiki https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/DCS_editor_AITasking#Perform_Task_vs_Enroute_Task and https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/DCS_editor_FAQ#Why_do_AI_aircraft_keep_attacking_before_I_want_them_to.3F. Any suggestions to improve are welcome since it is a wiki and I can edit it more easily.

To answer your question you will want to have the Tanker task execute first and then the Orbit task. Really anything you want that tanker to do first should be done before the Orbit.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
