my guess is that it would not.... using windows activation as an example it only needs a reactivation or something when either a processor, motherboard or hard drive is updated.... since video card is an expansion card i doubt it would effect it.

It has to be a major upgrade like changing your CPU. Now if you changed out a dvd drive, a video card and some memory, you would be asked to use an activation.
