Turboboy997
Using Oculus 1, Thrustmaster TWCS throttle and T 1600M FCS throttle. Ever landing is a left to right approach issue, never a right to left issue and it all happens in the last 3/4 NM after calling the ball. I watch all the tutorials on case lll landings but they never mention the type of controllers they are using. I've played around with controller Axis Tune settings but it really hasn't helped. Is anyone having consistent successful landings using the above controllers? draconus
A short video would help visualize what is your problem. In Case III you just follow the lines of ICLS - you'll note it aims for the right side of the strip rather than ceter because the boat is moving and the landing deck is angled, that's why you always chase a carrier to the right. On the last 3/4nm you use the ball and center on the strip.
