I hate to see the apache copilot experience the frustration that the other pilots experience when firing small arms at infantry... especially the huey doorgunner. it is discouraging to engage infantry point blank, and i have to shoot as many rounds to deplete a damage meter. spraying infantry groups with minigun proves fruitless unless going over and over. i hate to see infantry take one direct chain gun hit and the infantry lives... DGC338 Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 (edited) Would be nice to see an update of infantry if nothing but an update of look if not function (better function is the ultimate goal) It would be great to have a standard of work like the WW2 infantry or deck crew. The major factions, US, Soviet/Russia needs infantry skins for the major changes in equipment and uniforms from the 50s (Korean era) all the way to today. Hopefully with some desert and winter uniforms thrown in. Be fantastic to see Soviet era troops in Afghan era uniforms or US troops in multi-cam etc. Edited October 10, 2021 by DGC338 Spelling 2
Sobakopes Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 762 weapons both gshg and a mini gun in game have a lethal range of like 700 or 800 m or closer. At 1km you do like 10-15% health to a trooper. I think that this simulates infantry cover and the fact that 762 weapons are too small for a helicopter for the most part. Nowadays even 12.7 are too small for an attack gunship.
