Can't get DCS to start in VR mode

Well, to be specific. I can get it to start in VR mode thanks to the GUI, but it just displays the VR view on my monitor. I can't get it to send the feed to the HMD.

I've spent the better part of the afternoon trying to figure it out and it is beyond my capabilities to solve. HALP!


Reverb G2, non steam edition DCS, works fine in iracing and MSFS.

Have you installed,  wmr for steam vr and steam vr?

No, I'm not using steam DCS

… you need to use steamvr … regardless of if you are using steam or standalone dcs… if you are using a wmr headrest you need the wmr for steam vr bridging application for it to work.

OK. I assume this is in addition to/different from the WMR Portal, as I have that running.

Yes… 

You need to install steamvr and you need to install the wmr for steam vr software…

You need to get wmr for steam through steam portal. Then add dcs as an external game in steam.

Seems to have worked. Convoluted, but it appears to have worked.
