Basco1 Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 (edited) Since the last update DCS 2.7.7.14727 Open Beta, the PORT or left wing mounted bomb (I'm using 500 pounders) refuses to release,it was fine before the update, but not since I updated,I have been flying daily,so I was instantly aware of this today. The STARBOARD or right wing mounted bomb release is ok,as are the fuselage bombs. EDIT: I might add in the last update DCS 2.7.7.14727 Open Beta I believe ED altered the timing of the bomb release so that if releasing two bombs they would'nt collide under the aircraft and risk blowing up the aircraft, this has nothing to do with that as we are talking the No 1 position here the PORT side so given this alteration this side should release first. Holbeach Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 (edited) No prob here, but I'll take another look. Keep the release button pressed as it's the last bomb off. .. Basco1 Posted October 21, 2021 Author Posted October 21, 2021 (edited) Thanks Holbeach I always thought that the No1 position was PORT and STARBOARD was No2....why then should the No1 bomb position therfore be the last to drop ?....I'm confused. Just dropping the two wing bombs a minute ago,I can see that the No2 STARBOARD position drops first, followed by the No1 PORT position,I'm not sure ED has got this configured correctly.....surely the No1 position should drop first. I always drop the two wing bombs together first,so it does'nt unbalance the aircraft....then I drop my fuselage bombs......I see your dropping them all together......this has not caused me an issue until today, but I realise now that this has everything to do with the alteration of the bomb release timing that ED altered yesterday......again,I don't think they've got this configured correctly IMHO,but I appreciate your reply, and you can see why I thought there was a problem with this. Holbeach Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 (edited) The same thing will happen with the drop tanks. The staggering of the bomb timing affects them. Update: This doesn't occur if you don't drop bombs. Both tanks will drop together. Fuel cannot be transferred from 1 drop tank. Edited October 21, 2021 by Holbeach ASUS 2600K 3.8. P8Z68-V.
