sobe Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 Rather than get an Xbox for the TEDAC, it appears to me that the simplest solution for my TM Warthog setup is to use the switch command to give my HOTAS a completely separate set of commands for the pilot and gunner. I just need to better understand how the switch command works. Any thoughts? NWGJulian Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 simplest way is probably to use the switch as a modifier. i.e. the pinkie switch on the throttle. when forward, it is modifier 1, and you can bind all your tedac controls on it. backward, you could put modifier 2 on it, and bind ie. the fcr controls on the tedac, or however you would like to 1
Mad Dog 762 Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 (edited) Your HOTAS commands between Pilot and CPG can be pretty much the same, there is almost no difference in the cyclic and collective between the two stations. The TEDAC is what is different, and you could choose to use a switched command to use the TEDAC. I would use a physical two position switch though, not a temporary switch like the pinky, or you will have to hold it down the whole time you want to be in the "switched" mode. I actually think the X-Box controller would work great for the TEDAC though. Thats how I plan to start out at least.
