Mission 1 Radio use

Hi, I wonder if anyone can clarify what Ive supposed to do with the radios?

I set the 863 as always but cannot communicate with ATC since I only ever get the Interphone menu regardless of me pressing the ICS or the Radio select. I have easy comms diasabled and, outside of the Crew campaign, the radio works as expected, radio selecting the 863 and ics selecting the interphone menus. 

Im assuming its set in the mission design but, having now taken the equivalent of an entrie brigade of bones of the mountain and then failing due to rank stupidity close to the end, Im relaucant to re do the mission (as stunning as it is) if there is actually a bug. 

I noted that whilst, intially the radio coms are not required to progress, there is point later where Im asked to contact Nachlik for an approach. Eariler Youtube run throughs also seem to use the regular coms at points.

Hello! Yes, there is such a problem. Unfortunately, I could not solve it. Apparently this is an ATC bug. In the mission, there is no binding of triggers to radio communication with the ATC. You can choose not to request a landing via the F10 radio menu, this will not affect the mission result in any way. It is important to tune the frequency that the navigator dictates.
