tusler Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I go to the RadioMayak folder and remove the russian wav files, and I put in either 1 or 20 wav files of english songs. The I go to the sound folder and delete SampleDurationTable file. When I try to start the sim at the last part of the loading process it comes up with a Dcs.exe terminated error message. I have noticed when the russian tunes are in the folder or if I delet all tunes and have no wav files in the folder the SampleDurationTable file is 494kb and the sim loads fine. If I add or put any other wav file in the folder when the SampleDurationTable file is created it is only 492kb and the sim errors out during startup. how can I fix this. Is there a minimum size wav file that must be used or a max size? What gives. Thanks. Wav.JPG wav1.JPG 494.JPG Ask Jesus for Forgiveness before you takeoff :pilotfly:! crazysundog Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I had this problem with some tunes I DL'd from the net. I believe the problem is copy protection related. The first batch of songs were downloaded free from the net (they are not stolen, but openly available to anyone) and I had the same error message. The next batch of songs worked, and they came from my CD collection, which I saved to HDD; without any CP. Hope this helps!!
Slayer Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I bet hes right, I doubt the game has a full blown media player functionality that allows playing of DRM protected content. Wouldn't it be cool if you could tune to internet radio stations? I keep thinking of the kid playing his walkman in "Iron Eagle" lol [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] System Specs Intel I7-3930K, Asrock EXTREME9, EVGA TITAN, Mushkin Chronos SSD, 16GB G.SKILL Ripjaws Z series 2133, TM Warthog and MFD's, Saitek Proflight Combat pedals, TrackIR 5 + TrackClip PRO, Windows 7 x64, 3-Asus VS2248H-P monitors, Thermaltake Level 10 GT, Obutto cockpit
