fiod9 Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 One of the most significant engagement boosters out there is the ability to share content in social media. I find myself flying with DCS sometimes 4 or 5 hours a week (w/ my VR headset), but then - when I want to create appealing videos - it requires 1-2 more hours of tweaking, before I get a video I can share. Imagine DCS would automatically compile a highlights video at the end of each mission? Or imagine I can debrief a flight in Tacview, and then request to render a specific time slot (say, a minute) of the mission, and get only that slot rendered after a couple of minutes? It would mean the world for all of us wanting to brag in our victories!! 1
Boosterdog Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 Bragging about victories aside, it would be a great tool for those kind enough to share tutorial videos also I guess. SharpeXB Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 The replay function in DCS has been broken for years. So unfortunately it’s not possible to do what you’re wanting, in SP anyways. Yes there are many ways the replay system could be improved but apparently it’s a great deal of work. i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
