JDAV44 Posted December 16, 2021 Posted December 16, 2021 I have no issues adjusting tilt in RWS mode but when I switch to TWS mode, I can’t change the radar tilt. I always run the radar at 40 degrees, 40NM, 4B. I have to adjust the tilt for a target(s) while in RWS mode, and then switch back to TWS to engage multiple targets. If the targets climb or descend outside of the tilt range, I have to switch back to RWS to adjust the tilt and then back to TWS. Obviously not a great way to fight so I’m close to giving up on TWS. Since my tilt controls work fine in RWS, I know it’s not a HOTAS programming issue. Help please?
Gogojuice Posted December 16, 2021 Posted December 16, 2021 I have no issues changing the tilt in tws or rws. Its the same button for me. Perhaps you have the auto/manual on the right hand side selected? Does it say manual, auto, or bias? Just a thought to check?

I just started using TWS recently and they talk about the need to switch to auto mode. I didn’t realize you need to wait until you have a lock. I was switching to auto before I even had a contact. Feel like an idiot now but thanks for replying.
Gogojuice Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 No problem. I think many of us have been there. Thanks for the feedback. Have fun flying
