Flaps BIT Switch Not Working on AV-8B

When attempting to cold start the AV-8B (precisely as is shown in the cold start Training mission), I attempt to run a Flaps BIT by pressing the Flaps BIT button, however the BIT does not fire and after a few minutes of poking at the button, you realize nothings going to happen and you move on to the next step with a bitter taste in your mouth.

Its worth noting that the Flaps are turned 'On' and in 'AUTO' as per the instructions given to us in the training video as I run these tests. In addition, sometimes the BIT actually does work perfectly as intended which is super frustrating because you realize you did nothing differently from the majority of other cold starts where the Flaps BIT doesn't work.

@Damose989Working fine for me. You need to make sure that nozzles are >10° (or it could be <10°, can’t remember off the top of my head). But the key thing is it only works in one of those conditions (which is correct as is should be).

 

Edit: just checked the manual, it’s nozzles <10° (Pg 113)

A side note, the one odd thing I have noticed with the flap BIT is how it cycles once on the depress of the button and once on the release of the button
