GCI/AWACS on a WWII scenario

Hi guys, I'm setting up a new mission for warbirds on the channel map, and I was wordering is there a way where I can use some asset as an AWACS? In those kind of missions I generaly end up not finding enemies due to a lack of AWACS directions.

Sure, You have templates for Axis and You can guess and simulate with old tech radar for Allies.

Last time I tried it, Freya was WiP even with frequencies assigned. 

Does it work in the last beta?

It works jsut as a EWR, it shows enemies on F10 when fog of war is enabled but it did not give me BRA. 

I can not find a way to make it work as a AWACS, even a early one with poor precision
