Map question

I am new to DCS, only been playing maybe a few months. I think the Paradise lost campaign is just fantastic, but I have one question.

 

On a couple of the missions so far, the voice over says "I've marked it on the map" but I don't see anything on the map when I bring it up other than the few circles and the blue thing at the bottom left that are there on every mission. Am I bringing up the correct map?

Press F10 to open the map ( better pause before) then look for little red circles.  If you click on them they’ll say what they are.

Thank you for the response, never occurred to me to click.
