TGP Maverick offset

Hello together

When I use the IR Maverick in PRE mode with the TGP, there is an offset between the TGP and the Maverick. When I select the Maverick on the other wing, the offset also changes. But the Maverick and TGP never match.

I only have this effect when I take off from the ground with the F16. If I put an F16 in the air in the editor, I don't have this offset. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for your answer.

You gotta calibrate the LOSs between that launchers and TGP.

Point track an object with TGP and missile manually and press the "BSGT" button on the WPN format to save the calibration. Repeat for all stations with missiles.

Hot start airplanes simulate that the pilot has already done this for you before you took control.

the problem is after calibration is a little offset

the calibration isn't precise at all !

The calibration is perfect. At shorter ranges the fact that the missile and TGP are laterally displaced causes noticeable parallax. This will be most noticeable at the short ranges on the ground.

Even with hot start, I personally get like a 700ft offset between TGP and MAV (WPN) view. So..., hot start doesn't fix it. Probably, the only fix is to use the BSGT calibration technique you spoke about above. That's probably the only fix. Thx.

Hot start will get you a perfect boresight, in other words both lines of sight are parallel. It's just as Frederf stated. On short ranges the line of sight of the seeker and TGP being parallel will result in noticable parallax.
