So as my DCS OB shortcut points to D:Program files/Eagle Dynamics/etc can I just expect DCS to "work as normal"?

Yes ... but sometimes when copying large amounts of data from drive to drive, windows may skip some files (for a lot of reasons: disk errors, antivirus action, names too long, etc) ... so I suggest that you run a "DCS_Updater.exe Repair" procedure, it will do a quick check to make sure that no file is missing.

All seems to be going well, I've run the repair, all it found was 22 files in ../openbeta/downloads that "shouldn't be there".

Just downloading last Fridays update now, I couldnt fit it on the old SSD..... give me 2 hours.......... and I'll report back.

Quick question: What defines where DCS downloads updates/modules to?

Best regards,

Just to let you know it worked perfectly. DCS updated, repaired and working well.

Hopefully someone in the same situation can read this thread and gain some insight from it.

Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
