MadTommy Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 (edited) Hello all, I have a problem that i'd love to solve. I have Logitech Force 3D Pro, that i have got working pretty well with BS, not perfect but pretty good. I also have a gamepad that i set up to use, it was really helping with its extra axis/hats. However it appears the gamepad is screwing up my 'pitch' trim. (only my pitch, rudders and roll work, but with the gamepad plugged in the pitch constantly resets itself.) The game pad is not set to control any features/axis of the cyclic, but it is still affecting the pitch. This is odd and very annoying. I realised what was going on due to the FAQ quoted below. I really dont want to disable force feedback, and would love to be able to use the gamepad. Does anyone know of anything i can try.. any config files i can alter etc. Q: My trim function is not working. When I hit the trim button and neutralize the joystick, the cyclic in the cockpit also returns to neutral. A: If you have other controllers plugged in, such as a racing wheel, they are probably being recognized by the sim and are commanding the cyclic to recenter. You can try either unplugging the unused controllers or disabling the FF in-game function in the configuration files. To do so, open \...\Config\Producer.cfg and change the “ForceFeedbackEnabled” line from “true” to “false”. Just to repeat.. it is only the pitch that is affected.. and the gamepad is set to control nothing to do with the cyclic or pitch. :helpsmilie: Thanks + I'm looking at this file....Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\Config\Input\Aircrafts\ka-50\joystickGeneric USB Joystick {C7308F30-BE37-11dd-8001-444553540000}.lua and have found... [2] = { ["action"] = 2001, ["name"] = "Flight Control Cyclic Pitch", ["category"] = "Axis Commands", }, -- end of [2] I'm sure there is a way to edit this.. but i'd like some advice b4 i screw it all up  Thanks Edited December 7, 2008 by MadTommy i5-3570K @ 4.5 Ghz, Asus P8Z77-V, 8 GB DDR3, 1.5GB GTX 480 (EVGA, superclocked), SSD, 2 x 1680x1050, x-fi extreme music. FoxBMS Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Pitch Hi Tom, i have same problem, got hama black force gamepad and everything and every game works fine but in this case, pitch, axis Y (plane) still goes down. Of course without any touch of gamepad. Don't know f...ing why ?? In other games (simulators) there's no problem but only in Flaming Cliffs 2. And one more thing - When i installed Lock On Moder Air combat, gamepad (pitch) works fine but after patched to v1.02 then there is problem with that, same with Flamming Cliffs 1.1 and FC 2. I tried everything eg. reset configs, dxtweak , joystick curve etc... searched many FC 2 game files and still no luck. Don't you remember how did u fix it ? I know that gamepad not causing this. It's probably game bug. You would much help me with that! Many Thanks for any ideas.
