Changing the KA–50 skin number

I think I have read this some ware but I couldn’t get any search results regarding this issue.

How knows how to change the skin number, if there is any way of course?

the mission maker dictates what the displayed number is.

You can specify the side number in the mission editor. Not sure yet if there is way to change the color of the number, but I expect that may come down the pike in a mod at some time in the future. Also, I have read that on at least one of the skins (the Shark skin with side number 22) the number cannot be changed. HTH

When selecting the payload in the mission editor you will see a drop down box at the bottom right that is usually set to standard. Click that and you will see all the different skins you can use.
