For example, flying just above a river allows to terrain mask efficiently. The ability to arrive next to a river, and just tell Petro/George "follow that river, direction North, altitude X ft", and having him do that would be a considerable improvement. With the current system, each change of direction has to be commanded, making it almost impossible to effectively follow such terrain features if you're a bit busy as a CPG.
