deadsmell Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 this sim is hard as heck!! i cant even maintain straight level flight most of the time. mind you i was not flying with any commands profiled or anything, but damn! I figured i could just stick and rudder my way around and get acquainted but........ shes rockin and rollin and beggin me to stop! lol so im guessing that once i have the trim button mapped to the cyclic, i will achieve a more stable performance? im guessing by what i have read, that the trim button is pretty much like an automated trimming function? kind of like a go to button when things get shifty? maybe i am misunderstanding though. anyway i guess theres not much point to the thread, I just wanted to share. Dont let the smell get to ya...............
Kurtz Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Id suggest turning on Flight Director and it should fly quite ok until you do a little research on the Auto pilot and Trim function. Once you get an understanding of this heli you can go hands free and it will fly itself when required. I think the auto pilot will beat up on anybody new to this sim at first.
CiniKo Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 and dont forget to read FAQ!...there is well explained the trim and AP operation on Ka50. ciao -------------------- Fly high, Fly Fast! [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic6300_1.gif [/sIGPIC]
