The_Chugster Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 A few youtube vids say they are quite good and I was wondering where the fit in, are they TM HOTAS X level, X52/TM1600m or even X56 level? They look like KOs of the VKB Gladiator NXT
Sokol1_br Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 (edited) They are OEM versions made using the same plastic injection molds of VKB Gladiator MK.I, that are owned by Asian-Games Taiwan and not by VKB, and Defender Cobra M5 and Gametrix ECS throttles - controllers developed at 10+ years ago by VKB to be sold in Russian market under local hardware distributors brands, discontinued at years. But since the Chineses own the plastic injection molds, they use for create "new" models. But with downgraded electronics, simplified firmware. You find the same sticks under others not know "brands" (OEM hardware distributors). Although in the paper they have similar features than T.16000M, X-52... they wort? No, see Reddit/r/HOTAS. BTW - Don't thrust in Youtube "reviews" of joysticks made by FPS players, look for simmers reviews, with historic in this kind of hardware. Edited March 5, 2022 by Sokol1_br
The_Chugster Posted March 4, 2022 Author Posted March 4, 2022 Cool, thanks for the info. Sticking with a spring replacement for my Warthog for now.
Sokol1_br Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 If you have a Warthog, are the option of "upgrade" with VirPil WarBRD or T50CM2 bases -the last optimized for use extension. But if want a new stick and don't want spend in "high end": VKB Gunfighter, VirPil WarBRD, T50CM2 or WingWing, look at the new VKB NXT EVO with options under $200.
The_Chugster Posted March 5, 2022 Author Posted March 5, 2022 Yeah will probably upgrade to a Virpil at some point, seems to be the most compatible with the most grips.
