dbw Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Hi. Just bought the english version last night. Two downloads.....the main exe and the data1.cab .....I ran the exe and Black Shark is up and running. What do I do with the data1.cab download? It's in a winzip file. Many thanks.
Clu43 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 You don't do nothing with the Data1.cab file, the setup.exe uses it for install.,Just keep them together in same location or folder.,or burn them to a DVD for safe keeping.,enjoy BS. nemises Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 ^^ as above, it was allready used as part of the install (if you did not have the data1.cab in the same directory as setup.exe when installing, the install would have failed). Happy flying!
dbw Posted December 12, 2008 Author Posted December 12, 2008 Thanks for the replies. This is an interesting sim. Going to take some time to get good with it. I flew helicopters for 17 years and 5000 hour in the civilian world and have been waiting for a sim like this. I'm looking forward to the full manual when it is available for sale. A hearty thank you to the crew that developed Black Shark!
nemises Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Hi DBW, The fukll manual is allready available in PDF format (look in the "Docs" directory in your game folder)...there are 2 manuals, 1 X 450 page beast with all the aircraft systems in it and a smaller one for incidental program stuff (multiplayer, mission editor etc..). There is an extended 550 page manual coming out in hard copy next year though.
