Just installed the English version on my PC and everything seems to be ok, except for there is no voice-over on the training missions/tracks.

I originally download it on my laptop and installed it on that to check the integrity of the download. The training voice-overs seemed to work fine on that (didn't have to mess with any settings).

Is this a sound setting thing or a BS thing? I'm reluctant to do another install for obvious reasons :smilewink:

Please, check all volume sliders and checkboxes in "Options". Try also mission Courier.miz - can you hear sounds? If negative - check the settings of your sound card.

All the sliders are maxed out and I have all the boxes checked on the audio page, so I'm guessing it's a soud card setting/problem. I tried courier.miz and I get sound, just not the voice over. I'll let you know how I get on...

I had simular issues with Vista and FSX, in your control panel and sound configuration, set your speakers to only 2 as stereo, see if that helps.

Cheers

Sorry Moose, it did the trick - thanks :)

However, I reinstalled the sound driver afterwards and it seems to be working with surround sound again.

I’m glad to see that you had this resolve.
