Aircraft ditching not counted as victory

As described, I have noticed this a lot lately, any enemy aircraft that you damage significantly enough to cause it to ditch in the sea is not represented as a destroyed aircraft in your scores/debrief.

This is a much more common occurrence for WW2 aircraft in comparison to the modern jets.
