Hi, I am about to commit to buying a Brunner FFB joystick for use with the Apace as i am enjoying flying it and other heli's so much.

Can any other FFB users tell me if this is a recommended investment? Obviously its a big spend, but if it is a transformative experience, then I am happy to drop the money.

Opinions please, thank you

I only have a trusty old MSFFB2 joystick, but I can tell you right now that regardless of the module you use and ESPECIALLY with helicopters: Force Feedback is a game changer. I would compare it to flying with or without VR. That's how much of an improvement it provides.

FFB is definitely the best way to fly (I'm also a MSFFB2 user), not just helis, but any analogue non-fly-by-wire planes (P-51, F-14, MiG-29, gliders in the Condor2 sim are sublime etc etc). However, I would advise to do some research before buying Brunner. From little I know about it, it has no native support for DCS and requires some 3rd party workarounds.

I have the msffb2, which can be force trimmed ingame, while g940 sadly only works with "simffb".... Nevertheless i love using both... I cant Imagine flying Helos and my p-51 without them... I simply Love it... But i wouldnt pay 1.300 € for a slightly better Feeling... Get an msffb2 or a g940 for around 100€ and a few Weeks of waiting time at eBay... ☺️👍

Yeah, I guess for £70 it’s worth trying. Obviously you lack the faculty to use an extension and the functionality of a modern stick though……
