Belphe Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 Hi, Is it currently possible (and if so, how) from the back seat in single player to launch 2x Hellfire in LOAL with a few second interval and have George guide them to 2 separate targets positioned next to each other? Thanks Never say never, Baby! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
frostycab Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 (edited) Yes. I’ve done it. Long range shot, so about 30 seconds flight time. Gave it about 10 seconds between the shots. Had the target list up and ready, so as soon as the first shot hit I just had to scroll and right-short to switch to the next target I’d selected. I think they do need to be relatively close together though, as second missile will be tracking first target and only have a small time to correct. Edited April 11, 2022 by frostycab 1
Belphe Posted April 11, 2022 Author Posted April 11, 2022 Hi, I've been trying to perform a self-lased attack with two consecutive Hellfires launched in LOAL-HI mode using ONLY the back seat and making them destroy two separate targets. Today is day two of my struggle and I am utterly confused with who is to launch the missiles (me as the Pilot or George as CPG), how to make George switch to and lase the next target after the first one is shacked while the second missile is still in the air and why I'm constantly seeing BAL LIMIT when sneak-peeking at George's TADS. Even though I'm low, stationary, and facing the target the seeker box remains small, dotted, and centred. When given the consent to fire, George says "Engaging" and does absolutely nothing. I watched all the available videos on YouTube regarding this subject, but they are either contradicting each other in various steps or missing one of the important aspects of my attack. In other words, I haven't seen anybody do this yet - is it even possible? Perhaps something is still bugged? I was also hoping to learn this attack using JTAC but since I can't even self-lase two missiles, I decided not to complicate things for now. I'm not even sure JTAC can guide multiple Hellfires to multiple consecutive targets... If anybody could link/record a video on how to do it or perhaps write a few bullet points on the matter, I'd be very grateful. Basically, any assistance in achieving the above will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance! Never say never, Baby! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
