George reticle not slaving?

I'm flying as the pilot and I'm moving my HMD cursor over the area I want George to look for targets, but his dashed cross reticle never moves.

He still seems to see the targets, as sometimes the menu will pop up and I can scroll through them (be really nice if they had better target ID to discern friend/foe...), but I can't see where he's aiming.

What step am I apparently missing?

Set your acquisition source from the TSD page to the TADS and you will see a broken cross where the CP-G had his sensors pointed.
