MidMission possibility of saving?

New to campaigns and wondering if there is the possibility to set "save points". I suck in general, and going from all the start with cold start over and over again until completing a mission is kinda frustrating. So is the a possibility to set a safe point where i can jump in after being killed?

 

And: why do i see not all units on the F10 theatre map? I know...not realistig, but as a beginner it would be cool. can i change this in mission editor?

And: why i see my flight path (waypoints connected with yellow lines) no at the F10 map when i click my plane?

Unfortunately, you can not save during campaign. I you are a poor pilot like me you can save a track, replay it by speeding up time and take control before your mistake. It worked most of the time for me, you just need to not speed up time too much in sensitive moment. Sometime record is not accurate enough and you will have to take control before it diverge. It is best to replay in F10 mode.

Most of what F10 can display is set by the setting screen, or locked in the campaign.
