Toni Carrera Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 I need to be able to get my DCS-BIOS (HUB) to be able to connect to the SIM so that I can use the LUA console in order to be able to further enhance my StreamDeck XL Profile. StreamDeck works fine when using the prescribed method and addition of the necessary data within the Export.lua, and everything Command and Device ID's. It is just not being able to connect so I can use the LUA Console, and just getting the 'could not send snippet to DCS within 1 second.' I have been working with Bailey, but as yet, everything suggested has not worked. I have even gone down the DCS BIOS Panel Fork direction, but same deal. From what I have read, the panel fork edition is a lot harder to setup and connect anyway, and should not be needed in my situation anyway I get it no matter whether I run DCS Stable (2.7.11.22211) or DCS OpenBeta (2.7.11.22211) I have confirmed that the contents of the Export.lua are correct. I have tried as suggested by Bailey, only have the one line in the export.lua that is suggested by the LUA console in DCS BIOS BIOS = {}; BIOS.LuaScriptDir = [[D:\Program Files\Games\DCS-BIOS\dcs-lua\]]; BIOS.PluginDir = [[C:\Users\ToniCarrera\AppData\Roaming/DCS-BIOS/Plugins\]]; if lfs.attributes(BIOS.LuaScriptDir..[[BIOS.lua]]) ~= nil then dofile(BIOS.LuaScriptDir..[[BIOS.lua]]) end If in anyway relevant, although it probably isn't. it only shows DCS OpenBeta in DCS Connection part of DCS BIOS I have tried with FireWall on, off, TCP Port 5010 Exempt, Defender On/Off, blah blah. It just seems nothing I do, makes a difference I have also tried in DCS with F/A-18C and AH-64D, somehow thinking it would make a difference, which obviously it didn't I can interface with F/A-18C through the Control Reference: FA-18C_hornet on the relevant screen e.g. Please can someone assist me with trying to get me connected to via 'DCS Connection' because i need it to be able to source and locate what I wish to do what I want to do in my next release of my SD profile, which goes above the normal Command/Device/DCS ID's Thank you Toni Toni Carrera (Ice Rhino) ThrustMaster HOTAS Warthog Throttle & A10C Stick, ThrustMaster F/A-18C Stick, ThrustMaster TFRP Pedals, ThrustMaster Cougars x 2, fitted to CubeSim USB Screens, TrackIR 4 Active LED & Cap Reflector, Stream Deck XL Intel® Core™ i7-5820K 12 Core Processor, 32GB RAM, 1 x 500GB SSD, 2 x 256GB SSD, 1 x 1TB SSD 4 x 4TB Western Digital Mechanical. 2 x ASUS GTX 1080's SLI, ASUS 29" Ultrawide flanked by 2 x 22" IPS Monitors

No1sonuk Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Pretty sure you can't use Hub for the AH-64 as it's not actively supported/updated like the Flightpanels fork is.
Toni Carrera Posted May 1, 2022 Author Posted May 1, 2022 No, you can. As previously mentioned, it was being caused by my Saved Games not being in their original locations and on OneDrive instead Toni Toni Carrera (Ice Rhino) ThrustMaster HOTAS Warthog Throttle & A10C Stick, ThrustMaster F/A-18C Stick, ThrustMaster TFRP Pedals, ThrustMaster Cougars x 2, fitted to CubeSim USB Screens, TrackIR 4 Active LED & Cap Reflector, Stream Deck XL Intel® Core™ i7-5820K 12 Core Processor, 32GB RAM, 1 x 500GB SSD, 2 x 256GB SSD, 1 x 1TB SSD 4 x 4TB Western Digital Mechanical. 2 x ASUS GTX 1080's SLI, ASUS 29" Ultrawide flanked by 2 x 22" IPS Monitors
Toni Carrera Posted May 1, 2022 Author Posted May 1, 2022 Question - How do I mark my post as the solution, or at least the solution to my particular problem? Toni Carrera Posted May 1, 2022 Author Posted May 1, 2022 Hi @No1sonuk For the purposes of getting information and the DCS Connection and getting information from the AH-64D, that bit works no matter which module you are connecting to. The whole 'Control Reference' has not been updated for a while I think, and as yet, I have not seen the AH-64D appear, which is why the new version has come out, which as I understand it is more for 'Home Cockpit' creators Might be wrong on that last bit Toni Toni Carrera (Ice Rhino) ThrustMaster HOTAS Warthog Throttle & A10C Stick, ThrustMaster F/A-18C Stick, ThrustMaster TFRP Pedals, ThrustMaster Cougars x 2, fitted to CubeSim USB Screens, TrackIR 4 Active LED & Cap Reflector, Stream Deck XL Intel® Core™ i7-5820K 12 Core Processor, 32GB RAM, 1 x 500GB SSD, 2 x 256GB SSD, 1 x 1TB SSD 4 x 4TB Western Digital Mechanical. 2 x ASUS GTX 1080's SLI, ASUS 29" Ultrawide flanked by 2 x 22" IPS Monitors
