Maverick E/L Ready or Not?

Hi,

Whenever my maverick are "RDY", as soon as i switch to the "sidearms" ( for my auto defense), then my laser maverick switch back to "stand by "...

It's very annoying when you are close to the target and have to wait for 3mn again until the L Mav are aligned and ready.

Any idea?

Alphajuliet told me that it's how it is in the real jet.

Normal but not very intuitive ...
