skoiboy Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 One of my biggest issues has been finding the enemy. Usually I just wait for someone to shoot at me first. I noticed in the weapons training mission the enemy is blue on the hud. Also the hud tracks the missles. I'm sure it's a feature I'm forgetting to turn on, but what is it?
cquail Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 It's in the options menu, game play, labels... I prefer it off, more realistic. I go into a hover and start scanning for the enemy about 7-8km from the target.
fox_111 Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 I play with maximum terrain density and I don't have a lot of trouble spotting ennemies. When entering the combat zone, I just slow down a bit to give me time to scan visually in front of me. Having your AI wingmans do recon and report also help.
Chillspider Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 i look at the map in real life you would have intelligence on where friendlies are or the Front line of troops it may not be 100 percent in real life but its there so i look where i am on the map(F10) and see where the enemy are and scan in there direction. It still can be difficult with friendlies close to the enemy even using the map.
