Mission 4 - Nine Line from Axeman missing IP

Just tried mission 4 last night and had a question regarding the 9 line info passed from Axeman.

Here is one example of a 9 line provided by Axeman:

Offset 007

900

1995

infantry

KN 695 589

no mark

275 south

egress west

 

Why is line 1 Initial Point missing?  The offset 007, and distance 900 are supposed to relative to the IP?

I don't have a lot of experience with JTAC so I'm probably missing something?  In any case great campaign so far, the most fun I've had in DCS for a long time.

Hm.. might me my bad, but with coordinates you still should be OK. When I was writing it I knew much less about all this things that I do now, this is a pretty old campaign!

No worries.  I'm just trying to understand JTAC and this question came up when I started reading some of the guides.  The campaign may be old but its a lot of fun!  Thank you!

I realize this is almost a year old, but just played this mission yesterday. Axeman says 'IP will be my position' ... hope this helps!
